For a disciplined, organised, hard working side, Masuaku is a liability. End of discussion

I hear Oko-Flex maybe in the squad

daveyg - that's utterly myopic. You need to try not looking at Arthur through your lens of prejudice. I'm not saying he's suddenly a world-beater and he'll probably have poor games in the future, but his performance at Burnley was at least decent. That shot you mention showed really good technique and was very close, or are you saying that the way Pope moved like greased lightning across his goal was for no reason?

Daveyg, Nagel and unsurprisingly the site wanker can't except Masuaku has got afew things right in the past two games. Impressive how you can repeat yourselves and hand out a bit of abuse.
Thankfully Moyes knows what he doing and will see what Masuaku is doing.

Again you are giving credit to an unworthy Masuaku. Are you saying Soucek's effort at the end was worthy of applause and a 9 out of ten. Again Masuaku is better at finding a player in Claret and Blue but alas the team who was in CnB was Burnley. As for his shot at goal that was pathectic, like a training ground punt for fun. He had no one around him for yards but still couldn't hit a barn door.
What good form are you talking about ? Constantly giving the ball away and to the other team YES then.

Fornals must start

It will be interesting to see how Moyes approaches this one. We battered them for 35 minutes last season and went 3-0 up in the process and then nearly lost it with Keystone Cop defending reminiscent of the Pellegrini era.

I would go with the exiles team but have Lanzini in for Arfur.

They've got more than 1 striker though, Trunds son.

Not exactly blessed with natural born leaders, are they?

We probably have 5 or 6 players that could do a job.

He arrived back in England late (picked up his mum from wherever she lives abroad), so it meant he missed a whole day of training. He has form for doing this and being late constantly for training.

Okoflex most likely on the bench but I hope he gets a run-out tomorrow. He looks like a decent finisher.

Has it come out what he's actually done?

Re: Team for Arsenal
Just read that Okofkex will be in the squad.

Wonder when he’ll get his chance.

Don’t think Moyes will do a Bilic/Oxford selection but be interesting to see him off the bench if required - by all accounts he’s doing well in U23’s but it’s a big step up.

Re: Team for Arsenal
We all know Arthur's limitations, but I just think some people need to be more flexible in their thinking. I have often stood up for Benrahma on here but I think he has been poor recently and should be dropped - dropping a player shouldn't be seen as a punishment but as a constructive process to help the player to reflect on their performance and hopefully improve. The other side of the coin is to pick players who take their opportunities and show some good form, which is currently the case for Masuaku.

Mex also thought Antonio was going to start rattling them in for us from distance after he scored one for Jamaica. He looks at the game through the eyes of a 12 year old.

Nagel 8:11 Tue Dec 14
Re: Team for Arsenal
Mex, is that the same Masuaku who took 96 games to score his first PL goal? And now you seem to think the floodgates have opened? As for assists, Coufal's had more than him in half the amount of game time, and he's not played further forward like Masuaku has.

So basically his goals and assists have been low for a full back, let alone an attacking midfielder, and yet people want to play him instead of Benrahma or Fornals or Lanzini. It's not even like he adds anything defensively, seeing as he's worse as a defender than he is as an attacker.

Re: Team for Arsenal
I won't be sitting around at 3am to watch a side that can't hit a barn door or find a final ball. Hopefully get out of the library with a point.
